SOUTH AFRICAN RESERVE BANK ANNOUNCES RATE CUT OF 100 BASIS POINTS

The South African Reserve Bank this afternoon announced a cut in the repo rate of 100 basis points, therefore the banks’ prime lending rate has reduced from 9.75% to 8.75%.
