This privilege is called “freedom of testation”. If you die without leaving a valid Will your assets will be distributed according to the provisions of the Intestate Succession Act.
There are several law firms participating in National Wills Week and will write basic Wills free of charge during National Wills Week from 12 to 16 September 2016.
National Wills Week is a joint initiative of the Law Society of South Africa and its constituent members.
The following conditions apply to National Wills Week:
• Only attorneys participating in National Wills Week project will write your Will free of charge; and
• Only from 12 September 2016 to 16 September 2016.
